Piper Downs at The Gig West LA

I arrived about halfway through the PD's set, and the first thing I noticed was that Garner wasn't out front playing leads. Lo and behold, he was back on the kit, bangin' away like a hurricane. Turns out Chris couldn't make the gig, so Garner dusted off his sticks and filled in. They sounded good this way (I guess they played as a trio for several years before becoming a quartet). The only hitch came on Delicate, when it came to the spot where Garner usually plays his guitar solo. They comped through it and went on fine.
