This gig was kinda strange photography wise. They just used the regular old store lighting (flourescent, yum), which totally confused my camera, so all the pix came out with a sorta yellowish tint. They also had the band squeezed into a tight little spot, so only about 10 people near the front could really see well. I started out the concert as one of those people at the front. They could have required that you must bring a camera to get in and the crowd would not be one iota smaller. Everyone was taking pictures, including 3 or 4 people shooting video.The Muffs played a great set, including my fave by them (Sad Tomorrow). I enjoyed it so much I went home after the show and figured out the chords (they're at the bottom of this page). In the end, I decided not to try too hard color correcting, as I'm seeing them again tomorrow night at Chain Reaction, so the lighting should be better there. Till then... |
