Irving at Spaceland

Well, Irving are an odd lot. They play a laid back rock, and to be honest I was very neutral about their set. I didn't stand in front of the stage for their whole set in a trance, but I didn't feel like throwing rotten vegetables at the band or running from the room screaming either. I think with repeated listenings this band could grow on me, but it's kinda tough when you're playing late at night after two such stellar bands as The Sugarplastic and The Negro Problem.
