At one point Robbie Rist and Lisa Mychals from the Masticators started doing their version of country line dancing to one of Walter's more country songs.

I've been trying out the features on my camera that I don't understand one at a time (who says rock concerts aren't a learning environment). This night I was trying out the "slow flash" feature. It's supposed to eliminate that drop shadow that you see around people on all my flash shots. It didn't occur to me that it would also be a slower shutter speed, thus most of the pictures I took with slow flash were garbage. I threw in a couple of them that came out semi-focused, as it lends a kinda surrealism to the photos. For example, check out Lisa's hollow leg on the dance floor shot. Robbie Rist filled in on guitar for Barry Holdship's set, so all of the Masticators came from their earlier gig in Burbank. Thus, with all the extra rock stars around, Steve went nuts taking posed pix (and I even took one, the one of Robbie and Lisa). I finally remembered to ask Robbie Rist whose signature is on his guitar. It's Bill Kirchen, the guy who wrote Hot Rod Lincoln. Jeffrey Glenn of the Retros was also there, so Steve shot him.
